Bio: Edwin is a student at a school for Magitechnology, he is studying how the effects of highly specialized spells can create the most amazing infrastructure imaginable. He is a bit of a romantic at heart, however, and enjoys going on adventures or just looking up at the stars on a quiet night. He has formed a contract with a spirit called Squiggers and has been learning to use combat magic which seems to be coming in rather useful of late.

Bio: Princess (?!) Ariel Rensforth Nocturn III, otherwise known as Squiggers is a familiar spirit (specifically a Samr, which is a type of fairy) who made a contract with Edwin one day. Not much is known about her past yet. She has been training Edwin, and things just got intense when an exercise nearly went horribly wrong, then they found out a dragon may have been involved.

Bio: So far they really have not shown up much in the story. Edwin does not always get along with his mom, but despite what he might say on occasion, she is very precious to him. Edwin also has an interesting relationship with his dad. Edwin has a hard time talking to his dad about stuff, but recently they have taken to writing each other letters, even though they live in the same house.

Dream: Become a master sword smith.

Bio: Went to the same Academy as Edwin, started there a year after Edwin did. All three boys were homeschooled before that. He is a quiet guy who is always tinkering with something. People often do not connect that he and Edwin are related because, aside from being tall, they do not look much alike. Edwin has brown eyes and brown curly hair, Michael has blue eyes and straight blond hair and a reddish blond beard. But some have said there are similarities in their faces and mannerisms, Edwin does sometimes wonder about this.

Bio: This little squirt is like a blond haired blue eyed clone of his older brother, Edwin. Donovan seems rather fond of his older brother’s pet name for him, “Little Buddy”. He is a gifted student and has reaped many benefits from starting at the academy much younger than his brothers, but that’s not to say there have not been some hardships even in his young life. His mother nearly pulled him out of school because some of the kids in his class were bullying him. But things are better now that the ring leader has changed schools.

Bio: Girl Edwin rescued in chapter 11, she is the only daughter of General O'Connor. Edwin kind of likes her.
Samantha O’Connor
Bio: Keely's mother, strong willed and elegant. She is fond of Edwin in that mom who wants the best for her daughter sort of way.
General Andrew O’Connor
Bio: The General, as he is often called, is a long time war veteran with a small family that stays with him at the various forts he gets stationed at. He is not as fond of the "finer things in life" as his wife is, he prefers a simple sturdy lifestyle all around. He did not become one of the seven generals of the Malkadian Royal Army by accident or political haggling, he earned it and his troops know it. Among the troops and common folk, he is the most respected and revered general there is.
Parker Donaldson
Bio: Soldier in the army and personal assistant to The General. Good friend of Edwin's after chapter 11.
